src/styles/ids/settings.css interpolates the root font-size separately for mobile and desktop. The mobile range ends at --mobile-font-size-max: 32 while the desktop range starts at --desktop-font-size-min: 11.5. Measured on production:

  • 767px viewport: html is 31.96px, h1 is 115px
  • 768px viewport: html is 11.5px, h1 is 41px
  • 1024px (iPad landscape): about 15px, smaller than a phone at 390px (16.8px)

Tasks

  • Pick one continuous scale, e.g. clamp(14px, calc(...), 22.5px) from 320px to 1500px, or make the mobile max equal the desktop min at the breakpoint
  • Fix the same asymmetry for h1 (3.6em desktop vs 2.6em mobile)
  • Check 767/768/820/1024 widths after the change
